Is the GPS locator on The Iphone 3g Google Maps free?
Is the GPS locator on the Maps application on the iPhone free? If you type in a direction it shows a little blue dot and tracks where you are going. I just want to know it AT&T will charge me for using the GPS locator or if it is free.
GPS is a separate hardware device that AT&T can’t track without Apple‘s consent.
The maps are downloaded through the data network (which if you have a legit plan with AT&T, is free because you were required to have the unlimited data plan).
So you have nothing to worry about! (Keep in mind to not do anything with AT&T navigator…that’s a software)
